He played a catalytic role in the development and implementation of the new vision of Africa CDC by helping to break the silo approach and bringing teams together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mpox is a major public health issue in Africa and will last for at least 1 year to stop this outbreak, therefore we need a seasoned public health leader to bring Africa CDC colleagues and all partners (in total 24 organizations) to become members of the ONE continental coordination mechanism.
