Dr\u00a0Tsague Dongmo, the newly appointed Director,\u00a0Center for\u00a0Primary Health Care (PHC) is a distinguished public health expert from Cameroon and has been serving as the Senior Health Adviser to Africa CDC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his new role, Dr Tsague will lead several divisions and units, including: Community Health, Maternal and Child Health, Immunization, Nutrition, HIV, and Mental Health. He will also collaborate with colleagues to advance the Lusaka agenda and redefine the face of PHC in Africa to drive progress toward UHC..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout his career, Dr Tsague has held various leadership roles, including UNICEF Regional Health and HIV\/AIDS Adviser for West and Central Africa,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UNICEF Chief of HIV programs in Zambia and Rwanda, Senior Technical Adviser with ICAP at Columbia University in Rwanda, Chief Medical Officer for Cameroon\u2019s National PMTCT of HIV program at the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr Tsague holds a Medical Degree (MD) from the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at University of Yaound\u00e9, Cameroon, a Master\u2019s in Public Health (MPH) from Emory University, Atlanta, USA and a PHD in Public Health from the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town, South Africa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
